How TT Education supported Carpenters School with their journey to improve pupils’ attainment across the whole curriculum

Carpenters Primary School: a two form entry East London school. 35% of pupils are entitled to FSM and 80% of the children have EAL.

Carpenters Primary School had been judged as Requires Improvement by Ofsted, so were looking for some support that would have immediate but long-lasting impact.

We conducted a review of their teaching and learning and implemented an innovative and comprehensive 18-month training and support programme, tailored to meet the school’s specific needs and priorities. This included 39 days of consultancy support, two INSET days and four twilights.

Outcome

Within twelve months, Carpenters’ data was showing a vast improvement, thanks to the hard work of their staff team, supported by our consultants.
